Over the last decade, advancements in technology have produced a dramatic change in the general viewpoint of the healthcare industry. The positions of paramedical practitioners and technologists are no longer considered to be the prerogative of physicians and nurses with greater significance. Respiratory Therapy Technology graduates find jobs in government and corporate allied departments as respiratory therapist, ICU co-ordinator, polysomnography technologist, pulmonary function technologist, physician assistant to bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonologist, domiciliary respiratory therapist and product trainer. 

The Renal Dialysis Technology graduates have great demand as dialysis technicians in India and abroad. They are employed in the hemodialysis unit/peritoneal dialysis units of medical colleges, corporate hospitals and standalone dialysis units. They can also work in the field of Teaching as dialysis therapists and with experience become clinical supervisor for academic programs or clinical services. Graduates of Optometry find placements in traditional and non-traditional areas including, tertiary eye care hospitals, optical and contact lens industries, private practice, NGOS. The Anaesthesia & OT Technologists find a challenging career in a hospital, nursing homes, trauma/emergency centers, intensive care units, CSSD etc. These graduates are highly regarded for employment overseas.
